Arkansas High School Basketball - Rogers holds off Elkins
December 9, 2025: Rogers, AR 72758 The Rogers Mountaineers basketball team scored 50 points and limited the visiting Elkins Elks to 44 in the Mountaineers non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Mountaineers now possess a 1-4 record. They play next when they travel to Greenland for a non-league game on Thursday, December 11. Rogers will confront a Pirates team coming off a 60-42 non-league win over Springdale (Springdale, AR). The Pirates record now stands at 9-0.
With the loss, Elkins falls to 3-4 on the campaign. The Elks host Bentonville West (Centerton, AR) to confront the Wolverines in a non-league game on Thursday, December 11. The Wolverines go into the game with a record of 8-1. Bentonville West won 67-32 in their recent non-league game against ESTEM (Little Rock, AR)
