In Tuesday's non-league match, the host Saline Hornets basketball squad scored a decisive 52-20 victory over the Riverview Pirates.

With the victory, Saline upgrades its record to 1-0 on the year. The Hornets host South Lyon East (South Lyon, MI) to face the Cougars in a non-league match on Friday, December 12. The Cougars enter the match with a record of 1-0. South Lyon East won 73-30 in their recent non-league match against St. Catherine of Siena Academy (Wixom, MI)
