December 9, 2025: Catawba, NC 28609 The crowd at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the St. Stephens Indians (Hickory, NC) and the host Bandys Trojans (Catawba, NC), observed St. Stephens's basketball team overcome Bandys by a margin of 30-21.
The Indians (6-3) will now prepare for their challenge against North Iredell (Olin, NC). The Raiders come into the non-league challenge with a 4-1 record. In their last challenge, North Iredell dropped by Alexander Central (Taylorsville, NC), 41-31, in a non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Trojans battle the South Caldwell Spartans (Hudson, NC) in a non-league match, on Wednesday, December 10. Bandys will attempt to advance on its 0-2 season record. The Spartans enter the match with a 2-2 record after their 31-17 non-league win over Hibriten (Lenoir, NC).
