December 9, 2025: Lake Alfred, FL 33850 The Auburndale Bloodhounds basketball team scored 44 points and limited the host Discovery Spartans to 31 in the Bloodhounds non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Bloodhounds now have a 2-1 record. They play next when they travel to Winter Haven for a non-league game on Tuesday, December 16. Auburndale will confront a Blue Devils team coming off a 63-55 non-league win over Haines City (Haines City, FL). The Blue Devils record now stands at 2-1.
The Spartans (2-3) will now prepare for their outing against Lake Wales (Lake Wales, FL). The Highlanders enter the non-league outing with a 4-0 record. In their last outing, Lake Wales ran past Ocoee (Ocoee, FL), 57-52, in a non-league outing.
