The Chesapeake Math & IT Academy North Tigers (Laurel, MD) basketball toppled the host High Point Eagles (Beltsville, MD), 43-30 in Tuesday's non-league bout.

The Tigers now possess a 1-0 record. They play next when they travel to Crossland for a bout on Thursday, January 8.

With the loss, High Point falls to 0-1 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Northwestern (Hyattsville, MD) to clash with the Wildcats in a test on Thursday, December 11. The Wildcats come into the test with a record of 0-1. Northwestern lost 71-45 in their recent non-league bout against KIPP College Prep (Washington, DC)
