Texas High School Basketball - St. Pius X bests Matagorda
December 9, 2025: Matagorda, TX The St. Pius X Panthers basketball team scored 30 points and limited the host Matagorda Stingrays to 13 in the Panthers non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Panthers now possess a 1-1 record. They play next when they travel to St. John XXIII for a game on Tuesday, January 13.
With the loss, Matagorda falls to 0-1 on the campaign. The Stingrays travel to Louise (Louise, TX) to clash with the Hornets in a non-league outing on Tuesday, December 16. The Hornets come into the outing with a record of 0-0.
