Concord Raiders (Wilmington, DE) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Newark Yellowjackets (Newark, DE), 58-45 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Concord upgrades its record to 1-0 on the season. The Raiders travel to Appoquinimink (West Middletown, DE) to play the Jaguars in a non-league bout on Friday, December 3. The Jaguars go into the bout with a record of 0-0.
