The Laughlin Cougars basketball team (Laughlin, NV), was toppled 61-48 in Wednesday's league battle with the visiting Needles Mustangs (Needles, CA)

The Mustangs now possess a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Joseph City for a non-league battle on Thursday, December 2. Needles will confront a Wildcats team coming off a 69-38 non-league loss to Blue Ridge (Lakeside, AZ). The Wildcats record now stands at 2-3.

The Cougars (0-1) will now prepare for their battle against GV Christian (Henderson, NV). The Guardians come into the non-league battle with a 3-0 record. In their last battle, GV Christian beat Wells (Wells, NV), 60-32, in a non-league battle.
