California High School Basketball - Troy can't hold off Paramount
December 1, 2021: Paramount, CA 90723 The Paramount Pirates basketball team scored 55 points and held the visiting Troy Warriors to 50 in the Pirates non-league triumph on Wednesday.
The Pirates now sport a 4-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Glendora for a non-league contest on Friday, December 3. Paramount will battle a Tartans team coming off a 50-38 non-league win over Mark Keppel (Alhambra, CA). The Tartans record now stands at 4-3.
The Warriors (2-6) will now prepare for their contest against Valencia (Placentia, CA). The Tigers enter the non-league contest with a 1-5 record. In their last contest, Valencia was nudged by Canyon (Anaheim, CA), 77-29, in a non-league contest.
