The Central Panthers basketball team scored 48 points and held the host North Eugene Highlanders to 34 in the Panthers non-league triumph on Wednesday.

The Panthers now sport a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Cascade for a non-league contest on Friday, December 3. Central will meet a Cougars team coming off a 63-37 non-league win over North Marion (Aurora, OR). The Cougars record now stands at 1-0.

The Highlanders (0-1) will now prepare for their contest against South Albany (Albany, OR). The Redhawks enter the non-league contest with a 0-0 record.
