December 1, 2021: Grants Pass, OR 97527 Fans at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the Hidden Valley Mustangs (Grants Pass, OR) and the visiting Cottage Grove Lions (Cottage Grove, OR), saw Hidden Valley's basketball squad knock off Cottage Grove by a count of 40-23.
With the victory, Hidden Valley upgrades its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Mustangs travel to Oakland (Oakland, OR) to play the Oakers in a non-league challenge on Friday, December 3. The Oakers come into the challenge with a record of 0-0.
Next up, the Lions play the Pleasant Hill Billies (Pleasant Hill, OR) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, December 7. Cottage Grove will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record. The Billies come into the challenge with a 1-0 record after their 43-14 non-league win over Elmira (Elmira, OR).
