Iowa High School Basketball - Xavier tops Center Point-Urbana
December 1, 2022: Cedar Rapids, IA 52411 Xavier Saints (Cedar Rapids, IA) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Center Point-Urbana Stormin' Pointers (Center Point, IA), 70-53 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Xavier upgrades its record to 3-0 on the campaign. The Saints travel to Waverly-Shell Rock (Waverly, IA) to play the Go-Hawks in a non-league bout on Saturday, December 3. The Go-Hawks come into the bout with a record of 0-0.
Next up, the Stormin' Pointers play the Mt. Vernon Mustangs (Mt. Vernon, IA) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 2. Center Point-Urbana will attempt to upgrade on its 2-2 season record.
