New Mexico High School Basketball - Pojoaque Valley overwhelms East Mountain
December 1, 2022: Pojoaque, NM 87506 Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Pojoaque Valley Elks/Elkettes (Pojoaque, NM) and the visiting East Mountain Timberwolves (Sandia Park, NM), saw Pojoaque Valley's basketball squad wallop East Mountain by a tally of 52-29.
With the victory, Pojoaque Valley improves its record to 2-1 on the campaign. The Elks/Elkettes travel to Bloomfield (Bloomfield, NM) to play the Bobcats in a non-league challenge on Monday, December 5. The Bobcats come into the challenge with a record of 3-1. Bloomfield won 83-58 in their recent non-league challenge against Whitehorse (Montezuma Creek, UT)
Next up, the Timberwolves play the Monte Del Sol Charter Dragons (Santa Fe, NM) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, December 6. East Mountain will attempt to improve on its 0-2 season record. The Dragons come into the challenge with a 1-0 record after their 53-45 non-league win over McCurdy (Espanola, NM).
