Texas High School Basketball - Slidell knocked off by Glen Rose
December 1, 2022: Glen Rose, TX 76043 The Glen Rose Tigers basketball team scored 55 points and held the visiting Slidell Greyhounds to 38 in the Tigers non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Tigers now sport a 7-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Fort Worth Christian for a non-league contest on Friday, December 2. Glen Rose will battle a Cardinals team coming off a 64-49 non-league loss to Martins Mill (Ben Wheeler, TX). The Cardinals record now stands at 7-8.
The Greyhounds (3-4) will now prepare for their contest against Godley (Godley, TX). The Wildcats enter the non-league contest with a 1-5 record. In their last contest, Godley was defeated by Fort Worth Christian (North Richland Hills, TX), 64-44, in a non-league contest.
