Oklahoma High School Basketball - Kiowa nips Vanoss
December 1, 2022: Kiowa, OK 74553 Kiowa Cowboys (Kiowa, OK) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting Vanoss Wolves (Ada, OK), 51-48 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Kiowa upgrades its record to 1-4 on the campaign. The Cowboys travel to Haileyville (Haileyville, OK) to play the Warriors in a Pittsburg Eight bout on Friday, December 2. The Warriors come into the bout with a record of 0-6.
Next up, the Wolves play the Asher Indians (Asher, OK) in a Pontotoc bout, on Friday, January 13. Vanoss will attempt to upgrade on its 5-1 season record.
