Kentucky High School Basketball - Lyon County trounces South Warren
December 1, 2022: Eddyville, KY 42038 The Lyon County Lyons (Eddyville, KY) basketball crushed the visiting South Warren Spartans (Bowling Green, KY), 94-65 in Thursday's non-league test.
The Lyons (2-0) will now prepare for their test against Mason County (Maysville, KY). The Royals go into the non-league test with a 1-0 record. In their last test, Mason County walloped Rowan County (Morehead, KY), 67-48, in a non-league test.
The Spartans now own a 1-1 record. They play next when they travel to Logan County for a non-league test on Saturday, December 3. South Warren will encounter a Cougars squad coming off a 74-40 non-league loss to Warren East (Bowling Green, KY). The Cougars record now stands at 0-2.
