The Omaha Nation Chiefs basketball team scored 79 points and held the visiting Lyons-Decatur Northeast Cougars to 47 in the Chiefs non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Chiefs now sport a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Santee for a non-league contest on Friday, December 2. Omaha Nation will battle a Warriors team coming off a 73-58 non-league win over Walthill (Walthill, NE). The Warriors record now stands at 1-0.
