California High School Basketball - Rim of the World knocked off by Montclair

The Montclair Cavaliers basketball team scored 61 points and held the host Rim of the World Fighting Scots to 53 in the Cavaliers non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Cavaliers now sport a 4-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host La Puente for a non-league contest on Monday, December 5. Montclair will battle a Warriors team coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Mendez (Los Angeles, CA). The Warriors record now stands at 0-5.

The Fighting Scots (2-2) will now prepare for their contest against Mary Star of the Sea (San Pedro, CA). The Stars enter the non-league contest with a 5-2 record. In their last contest, Mary Star of the Sea was defeated by Wilson (Hacienda Heights, CA), 67-50, in a non-league contest.
