California High School Basketball - River Valley nips Mt. Shasta

River Valley Falcons (Yuba City, CA) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Mt. Shasta Bears (Mt. Shasta, CA), 55-49 in a non-league bout.

With the win, River Valley upgrades its record to 3-2 on the season. The Falcons host Argonaut (Jackson, CA) to play the Mustangs in a non-league bout on Friday, December 2. The Mustangs go into the bout with a record of 3-0. Argonaut won 53-45 in their recent non-league bout against Anderson (Anderson, CA)

Next up, the Bears play the Anderson Cubs (Anderson, CA) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 2. Mt. Shasta will attempt to upgrade on its 1-1 season record. The Cubs go into the bout with a 1-1 record after their 53-45 non-league loss to Argonaut (Jackson, CA).
