Texas High School Basketball - Reagan County topped by New Deal
December 1, 2022: New Deal, TX 79350 The New Deal Lions basketball squad scored 61 points and limited the visiting Reagan County Owls to 48 in the Lions non-league win on Thursday.
With the win, New Deal upgrades its record to 1-2 on the season. The Lions travel to Seminole (Seminole, TX) to play the Indians in a non-league bout on Thursday, December 1. The Indians go into the bout with a record of 2-2. Seminole lost 52-50 in their recent non-league bout against Cooper (Lubbock, TX)
Next up, the Owls play the Garden City Bearkats (Garden City, TX) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, December 1. Reagan County will attempt to upgrade on its 4-1 season record. The Bearkats go into the bout with a 1-1 record after their 52-43 non-league win over Forsan (Forsan, TX).
