New Mexico High School Basketball - Kirtland Central tops Grants
December 1, 2022: Kirtland, NM 87417 Kirtland Central Broncos (Kirtland, NM) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Grants Pirates (Grants, NM), 38-30 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Kirtland Central upgrades its record to 2-0 on the campaign. The Broncos host Thoreau (Thoreau, NM) to play the Hawks in a non-league bout on Friday, December 2. The Hawks come into the bout with a record of 1-0. Thoreau won 41-30 in their recent non-league bout against Tohatchi (Tohatchi, NM)
Next up, the Pirates play the Taos Tigers (Taos, NM) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 2. Grants will attempt to upgrade on its 0-2 season record. The Tigers come into the bout with a 0-1 record after their 49-42 non-league loss to Capital (Santa Fe, NM).
