The Slidell Greyhounds basketball team scored 83 points and held the host Boyd Yellowjackets to 23 in the Greyhounds non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Greyhounds now sport a 7-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Eastern Hills for a non-league contest on Thursday, December 1. Slidell will battle a Highlanders team coming off a 42-41 non-league win over Wyatt (Fort Worth, TX). The Highlanders record now stands at 1-2.

The Yellowjackets (1-3) will now prepare for their contest against Callisburg (Gainesville, TX). The Wildcats enter the 3A Region II District 10 contest with a 6-3 record.
