California High School Basketball - Palm Desert holds off Citrus Valley
December 1, 2022: Redlands, CA 92374 Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Palm Desert Aztecs (Palm Desert, CA) and the host Citrus Valley Blackhawks (Redlands, CA), saw Palm Desert's basketball squad hold off Citrus Valley by a tally of 44-40.
With the victory, Palm Desert improves its record to 4-3 on the campaign. The Aztecs travel to Kaiser (Fontana, CA) to confront the Cats in a non-league challenge on Friday, December 2. The Cats come into the challenge with a record of 3-0. Kaiser won 46-22 in their recent non-league challenge against Woodcrest Christian (Riverside, CA)
Next up, the Blackhawks confront the Rialto Knights (Rialto, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, December 5. Citrus Valley will attempt to improve on its 1-3 season record. The Knights come into the challenge with a 6-0 record after their 46-30 non-league win over Xavier Prep (Palm Desert, CA).
