Texas High School Basketball - Eastlake topped by North Lamar
December 1, 2022: El Paso, TX 79928 The North Lamar Panthers basketball team scored 68 points and restricted the host Eastlake Falcons to 48 in the Panthers non-league victory on Thursday.
The Panthers now sport a 8-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Palo Duro for a non-league contest on Friday, December 2. North Lamar will battle a Dons team coming off a 54-40 non-league win over Van Alstyne (Van Alstyne, TX). The Dons record now stands at 2-1.
The Falcons (1-6) will now prepare for their contest against Socorro (El Paso, TX). The Bulldogs come into the 6A Region I District 1 contest with a 7-4 record. In their last contest, Socorro was defeated by Gadsden (Anthony, NM), 52-42, in a non-league contest.
