December 1, 2022: Plano, TX 75075 In Thursday's non-league outing, the John Paul II Cardinals (Plano, TX) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Emerson Mavericks (McKinney, TX), by a margin of 56-23.
The Cardinals (7-3) will now prepare for their outing against Parish Episcopal (Dallas, TX). The Panthers go into the TAPPS 6A District 2 outing with a 6-2 record. In their last outing, Parish Episcopal smashed DasCHE (Cedar Hill, TX), 65-35, in a non-league outing.
The Mavericks now own a 5-10 record. They play next when they travel to Northwest for a non-league outing on Friday, December 2. Emerson will clash with a Texans squad coming off a 43-38 non-league win over Rock Hill (Frisco, TX). The Texans record now stands at 7-3.
