Texas High School Basketball - Whitney can't hold off Gordon
December 1, 2022: Whitney, TX 76692 The Gordon Longhorns basketball team scored 34 points and held the host Whitney Wildcats to 29 in the Longhorns non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Longhorns now sport a 8-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Boles for a non-league contest on Thursday, December 1. Gordon will battle a Hornets team coming off a 55-27 non-league win over Celeste (Celeste, TX). The Hornets record now stands at 4-1.
The Wildcats (3-7) will now prepare for their contest against Three Way (Stephenville, TX). The enter the non-league contest with a 2-0 record. In their last contest, Three Way nudged Gustine (Gustine, TX), 43-26, in a non-league contest.
