Texas High School Basketball - Mabank can't hold off Liberty-Eylau
December 1, 2022: Texarkana, TX 75501 The Liberty-Eylau Leopards basketball team scored 53 points and restricted the visiting Mabank Panthers to 46 in the Leopards non-league victory on Thursday.
The Leopards now sport a 5-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Gilmer for a non-league contest on Saturday, December 3. Liberty-Eylau will battle a Buckeyes team coming off a 40-34 non-league loss to Jacksonville (Jacksonville, TX). The Buckeyes record now stands at 7-3.
The Panthers (8-6) will now prepare for their contest against Jacksonville (Jacksonville, TX). The Fightin' Indians come into the non-league contest with a 8-5 record. In their last contest, Jacksonville edged Gilmer (Gilmer, TX), 40-34, in a non-league contest.
