The McCollum Cowboys (San Antonio, TX) basketball nipped the visiting Taft Raiders (San Antonio, TX), 58-52 in Thursday's non-league test.

The Cowboys (9-4) will now prepare for their test against Lampasas (Lampasas, TX). The Badgers go into the non-league test with a 14-5 record. In their last test, Lampasas got by Young Women's Leadership Academy (San Antonio, TX), 78-67, in a non-league test.
