December 1, 2022: Melrose, NM 88124 Melrose Buffaloes (Melrose, NM) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Quemado Eagles (Quemado, NM), 55-27 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Melrose upgrades its record to 2-0 on the campaign. The Buffaloes travel to Hagerman (Hagerman, NM) to play the Bobcats in a non-league bout on Friday, December 2. The Bobcats come into the bout with a record of 1-0. Hagerman won 57-26 in their recent non-league bout against Floyd (Floyd, NM)
Next up, the Eagles play the Floyd Broncos (Floyd, NM) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 2. Quemado will attempt to upgrade on its 2-1 season record. The Broncos come into the bout with a 0-1 record after their 57-26 non-league loss to Hagerman (Hagerman, NM).
