Iowa High School Basketball - Spirit Lake nudges MOC-Floyd Valley
December 1, 2022: Spirit Lake, IA 51360 Spirit Lake Indians (Spirit Lake, IA) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting MOC-Floyd Valley Dutchmen (Orange City, IA), 56-50 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Spirit Lake upgrades its record to 1-1 on the season. The Indians host Unity Christian (Orange City, IA) to clash with the Knights in a non-league bout on Friday, December 2. The Knights go into the bout with a record of 2-0. Unity Christian won 56-55 in their recent non-league bout against Le Mars (Le Mars, IA)
Next up, the Dutchmen clash with the Boyden-Hull Comets (Hull, IA) in a Siouxland bout, on Friday, December 2. MOC-Floyd Valley will attempt to upgrade on its 2-1 season record.
