Polk County Wolverines (Columbus, NC) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting NCSSM: Morganton (Morganton, NC), 52-8 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Polk County upgrades its record to 2-0 on the season. The Wolverines travel to Landrum (Landrum, SC) to clash with the Cardinals in a non-league bout on Friday, December 2. The Cardinals go into the bout with a record of 3-2. Landrum lost 59-56 in their recent non-league bout against Blue Ridge (Greer, SC)
