The Spanish Springs Cougars basketball team (Sparks, NV), was overwhelmed 63-13 in Thursday's non-league battle with the visiting Piedmont Highlanders (Piedmont, CA)

The Highlanders now possess a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Reno for a non-league battle on Friday, December 2. Piedmont will confront a Huskies team coming off a 53-51 non-league loss to Faith Lutheran (Las Vegas, NV). The Huskies record now stands at 1-1.
