In Thursday's non-league match, the visiting Westfield Area Pioneers basketball team scored a decisive 70-35 triumph over the Sparta Spartans.

In their next game, the Pioneers meet the Edgewood Crusaders (Madison, WI) in a non-league match, on Monday, December 5. Westfield Area will attempt to move on its 5-0 season record. The Crusaders enter the match with a 1-3 record after their 70-36 non-league loss to Aquinas (La Crosse, WI).
