California High School Basketball - Christopher tops Leigh
December 1, 2022: Gilroy, CA 95020 Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Christopher Cougars (Gilroy, CA) and the visiting Leigh Longhorns (San Jose, CA), saw Christopher's basketball squad knock off Leigh by a tally of 46-38.
With the victory, Christopher improves its record to 2-0 on the campaign. The Cougars host Los Gatos (Los Gatos, CA) to play the Wildcats in a non-league challenge on Saturday, December 10. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a record of 3-1. Los Gatos won 58-55 in their recent non-league challenge against Archbishop Mitty (San Jose, CA)
Next up, the Longhorns play the Westmont Warriors (Campbell, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, December 3. Leigh will attempt to improve on its 1-1 season record. The Warriors come into the challenge with a 1-0 record after their 67-29 non-league win over Soquel (Soquel, CA).
