California High School Basketball - Madison topped by La Jolla Country Day
December 1, 2022: San Diego, CA 92117 The La Jolla Country Day Torreys basketball team scored 56 points and restricted the host Madison Warhawks to 44 in the Torreys non-league victory on Thursday.
The Torreys now sport a 5-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Torrey Pines for a non-league contest on Friday, December 2. La Jolla Country Day will battle a Falcons team coming off a 69-24 non-league win over Helix (La Mesa, CA). The Falcons record now stands at 7-0.
The Warhawks (1-1) will now prepare for their contest against Carlsbad (Carlsbad, CA). The Lancers come into the non-league contest with a 5-2 record. In their last contest, Carlsbad prevailed over San Dieguito Academy (Encinitas, CA), 83-37, in a non-league contest.
