December 1, 2022: Redding, CA 96001 The Shasta Wolves (Redding, CA) basketball knocked off the visiting Placer Hillmen (Auburn, CA), 68-57 in Thursday's non-league test.
The Wolves (1-0) will now prepare for their test against West Valley (Cottonwood, CA). The Eagles go into the non-league test with a 1-0 record. In their last test, West Valley notched a victory over Red Bluff (Red Bluff, CA), 50-45, in a non-league test.
The Hillmen now own a 1-1 record. They play next when they travel to Foothill for a non-league test on Friday, December 2. Placer will encounter a Cougars squad coming off a 65-49 non-league win over University Prep (Redding, CA). The Cougars record now stands at 2-0.
