Pleasant Valley Bears (Brodheadsville, PA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Bangor Slaters (Bangor, PA), 63-37 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Pleasant Valley upgrades its record to 1-0 on the season. The Bears travel to Louis E. Dieruff (Allentown, PA) to play the Huskies in a non-league bout on Monday, December 4. The Huskies go into the bout with a record of 0-0.

Next up, the Slaters play the Moravian Academy Lions (Bethlehem, PA) in a Colonial - East bout, on Tuesday, December 5. Bangor will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record.
