Wisconsin High School Basketball - Washington overwhelmed by Beloit Memorial
December 1, 2023: Beloit, WI 53511 The Beloit Memorial Purple Knights basketball team scored 81 points and restricted the visiting Washington Purgolders to 24 in the Purple Knights non-league victory on Friday.
The Purple Knights now sport a 2-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Milwaukee Marshall for a non-league contest on Monday, December 4. Beloit Memorial will battle a Eagles team coming off a 73-44 non-league loss to St. Joseph (Kenosha, WI). The Eagles record now stands at 0-1.
The Purgolders (0-1) will now prepare for their contest against Franklin (Franklin, WI). The Sabers come into the non-league contest with a 1-0 record. In their last contest, Franklin triumphed over Racine Case (Racine, WI), 81-72, in a league contest.
