California High School Basketball - Branham can't hold off St. Francis
December 1, 2023: La Canada, CA 91011 The St. Francis Golden Knights basketball team scored 68 points and held the visiting Branham Bruins to 66 in the Golden Knights non-league triumph on Friday.
The Golden Knights now sport a 7-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to King's Academy for a non-league contest on Saturday, December 2. St. Francis will battle a Knights squad coming off a 54-51 non-league win over Carlmont (Belmont, CA). The Knights record now stands at 3-0.
Next up, the Bruins play the Carlmont Scots (Belmont, CA) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, December 2. Branham will attempt to upgrade on its 4-1 season record. The Scots come into the bout with a 1-1 record after their 54-51 non-league loss to King's Academy (Sunnyvale, CA).
