Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Hillsboro Eagles (Hillsboro, TX) and the visiting Dawson Bulldogs (Dawson, TX), saw Hillsboro's basketball squad overcome Dawson by a tally of 56-36.

With the victory, Hillsboro improves its record to 5-2 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Reicher Catholic (Waco, TX) to confront the Cougars in a non-league challenge on Saturday, December 2. The Cougars come into the challenge with a record of 1-1. Reicher Catholic lost 54-49 in their recent non-league challenge against Cisco (Cisco, TX)

Next up, the Bulldogs confront the Buffalo Bison (Buffalo, TX) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, December 7. Dawson will attempt to improve on its 1-1 season record. The Bison come into the challenge with a 2-3 record after their 47-43 non-league loss to Robinson (Robinson, TX).
