Kickapoo Chiefs (Springfield, MO) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting De Smet Jesuit Spartans (St. Louis, MO), 60-52 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Kickapoo upgrades its record to 3-0 on the season. The Chiefs host Parkview (Springfield, MO) to play the Vikings in a Ozarks bout on Saturday, December 2. The Vikings go into the bout with a record of 3-0. Parkview won 70-62 in their recent non-league bout against Lee's Summit West (Lee's Summit, MO)
