Oregon High School Basketball - Delphian tops Nestucca
December 1, 2023: Sheridan, OR 97378 Delphian Dragons (Sheridan, OR) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Nestucca Bobcats (Cloverdale, OR), 67-53 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Delphian upgrades its record to 1-1 on the campaign. The Dragons host Corbett (Corbett, OR) to play the Cardinals in a 3A Coastal Range bout on Tuesday, December 5. The Cardinals come into the bout with a record of 0-2. Corbett lost 80-62 in their recent non-league bout against Portland Adventist Academy (Portland, OR)
Next up, the Bobcats play the Waldport Irish (Waldport, OR) in a non-league bout, on Monday, December 4. Nestucca will attempt to upgrade on its 0-2 season record. The Irish come into the bout with a 1-1 record after their 44-36 non-league loss to Colton (Colton, OR).
