Texas High School Basketball - Fruitvale can't hold off Elkhart
December 1, 2023: Elkhart, TX 75839 The Elkhart Elks basketball team scored 39 points and restricted the visiting Fruitvale Bobcats to 38 in the Elks non-league victory on Friday.
The Elks now sport a 4-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Alto for a non-league contest on Friday, December 1. Elkhart will battle a Yellowjackets team coming off a 63-36 non-league win over Fruitvale (Fruitvale, TX). The Yellowjackets record now stands at 6-1.
The Bobcats (2-7) will now prepare for their contest against Neches (Neches, TX). The Tigers come into the non-league contest with a 7-3 record. In their last contest, Neches was nudged by Alpha Omega Academy (Huntsville, TX), 48-47, in a non-league contest.
