Arkansas High School Basketball - Fouke crushes Gurdon
December 1, 2023: Fouke, AR 71837 Fouke Panthers (Fouke, AR) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Gurdon Go-Devils (Gurdon, AR), 53-18 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Fouke upgrades its record to 5-1 on the season. The Panthers host McLeod (McLeod, TX) to clash with the Longhorns in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 5. The Longhorns go into the bout with a record of 8-0.
Next up, the Go-Devils clash with the Parkers Chapel Trojans (El Dorado, AR) in a 2A Region 8 bout, on Tuesday, December 5. Gurdon will attempt to upgrade on its 1-2 season record. The Trojans go into the bout with a 1-5 record after their 38-33 non-league loss to Crossett (Crossett, AR).
