The Porter Ridge Pirates basketball team (Indian Trail, NC), was toppled 78-58 in Friday's non-league battle with the host Indian Land Warriors (Fort Mill, SC)

The Warriors now possess a 4-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Augusta Christian for a non-league battle on Saturday, December 2. Indian Land will confront a Lions team coming off a 82-62 non-league win over Varsity Opponent (, ). The Lions record now stands at 2-3.

The Pirates (1-4) will now prepare for their battle against Independence (Charlotte, NC). The Patriots come into the non-league battle with a 2-2 record. In their last battle, Independence was toppled by South Mecklenburg (Charlotte, NC), 56-54, in a non-league battle.
