December 1, 2023: Wapakoneta, OH 45895 Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Wapakoneta Redskins (Wapakoneta, OH) and the visiting Jefferson Wildcats (Delphos, OH), saw Wapakoneta's basketball squad knock off Jefferson by a count of 47-33.
With the victory, Wapakoneta upgrades its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Redskins travel to Liberty-Benton (Findlay, OH) to play the Eagles in a non-league challenge on Saturday, December 2. The Eagles come into the challenge with a record of 1-0. Liberty-Benton won 55-30 in their recent non-league challenge against Hardin Northern (Dola, OH)
Next up, the Wildcats play the Fairview Apaches (Sherwood, OH) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, December 8. Jefferson will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record. The Apaches come into the challenge with a 1-0 record after their 56-39 non-league win over Hicksville (Hicksville, OH).
