Illinois High School Basketball - Joliet Catholic overwhelmed by St. Patrick
December 1, 2023: Joliet, IL 60435 The Joliet Catholic Hilltoppers basketball team (Joliet, IL), was overwhelmed 74-41 in Friday's league battle with the visiting St. Patrick Shamrocks (Chicago, IL)
The Shamrocks now possess a 4-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Metea Valley for a non-league battle on Sunday, December 3. St. Patrick will battle a Mustangs team coming off a 44-42 league win over DeKalb (DeKalb, IL). The Mustangs record now stands at 4-1.
The Hilltoppers (2-1) will now prepare for their battle against Saint Viator (Arlington Heights, IL). The Lions come into the East Suburban Catholic battle with a 5-2 record. In their last battle, Saint Viator was overwhelmed by Marist (Chicago, IL), 56-43, in a league battle.
