Illinois High School Basketball - Kewanee thwarts Quest Charter Academy
December 1, 2023: Kewanee, IL 61443 The Kewanee Boilermakers (Kewanee, IL) basketball knocked off the visiting Quest Charter Academy Gators (Peoria, IL), 27-13 in Friday's non-league test.
The Boilermakers (3-3) will now prepare for their test against Newman Central Catholic (Sterling, IL). The Comets go into the Three Rivers - East test with a 4-2 record.
The Gators now own a 1-4 record. They play next when they host New Berlin for a non-league test on Wednesday, December 6. Quest Charter Academy will encounter a Pretzels squad coming off a 54-41 non-league win over Litchfield (Litchfield, IL). The Pretzels record now stands at 5-1.
