December 1, 2023: Burke, VA 22015 Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Oakton Cougars (Vienna, VA) and the host Lake Braddock Bruins (Burke, VA), saw Oakton's basketball squad wallop Lake Braddock by a tally of 48-24.
With the victory, Oakton improves its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Cougars travel to Alexandria City (Alexandria, VA) to confront the Titans in a non-league challenge on Monday, December 4. The Titans come into the challenge with a record of 0-0.
Next up, the Bruins confront the George C. Marshall Statesmen (Falls Church, VA) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, December 4. Lake Braddock will attempt to improve on its 0-1 season record. The Statesmen come into the challenge with a 3-0 record after their 68-43 non-league win over Charles J. Colgan (Manassas, VA).
