December 1, 2023: Springfield, KY 40069 The Marion County Knights basketball team (Lebanon, KY), was overwhelmed 68-36 in Friday's non-league battle with the host Washington County Commanders (Springfield, KY)
The Commanders now possess a 2-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to St. Xavier for a non-league battle on Saturday, December 2. Washington County will confront a Tigers team coming off a 100-58 non-league win over Central (Louisville, KY). The Tigers record now stands at 1-0.
The Knights (1-1) will now prepare for their battle against Walton-Verona (Walton, KY). The Bearcats come into the non-league battle with a 1-1 record. In their last battle, Walton-Verona trounced Eminence (Eminence, KY), 76-26, in a non-league battle.
